Penny DeNoble

Penny DeNoble has been Co-Executive Director of Frontline Legal Services since January 2020

Her work includes overseeing the organization’s Peer Program outreach to parish prisons and Department of Corrections facilities, facilitate the Ryan White EMA grant, and assist with general operations, of the organization.  Prior to her promotion of Co-ED, Penny was the Peer Program Manager of Frontline Legal Services, supporting and assisting the Non-Medical Case Managers in providing services to clients within the jail and prison systems.

She has been engaged in HIV activism and advocacy since 2008.  Her goals are to raise awareness, encourage testing, reduce stigma, and promote prevention and linkage to healthcare.

After being away from New Orleans for 50 years, Penny returned to the city of her birth for 7 years, appreciating the reconnection and the rhythm of the city that’s unlike any other place on earth.  She transitioned to the Atlanta area November 2021, to assist in the launch of Frontline Georgia, and expanding the vision of helping people living with HIV to actualize their own power, while enjoying exploring all that the Atlanta and Georgia area has to offer.

Chad B. Morris

Chad B. Morris is the Medical Case Manager and Communications Specialist for Frontline Legal Services

A New Orleans native, Chad got his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Loyola University New Orleans.  Helping people on a better path to health, Chad worked for CVS pharmacy in various positions for 11 years until joining the Frontline team in 2018. Chad’s goals with the organization are to grow as a public health worker while helping to address HIV stigma and connect people to services who are in need.

Louise Bienvenu

Louise Bienvenu serves as Co-Executive Director at Frontline Legal Services, an HIV Community Service organization spanning the State of Louisiana.

Louise worked at AIDSLaw of Louisiana for more than a decade, leaving her position as Director of Legal Services in 2015 to join Frontline. Louise served as Director of Legal Services for Frontline from 2016-2019, and currently serves as Co-Executive Director since January 2020.

Louise is a 1988 graduate of Loyola School of Law, where she was a founding member of the Loyola Public Interest Law Association and served on the Law Review. Louise worked for three years with the Mental Health Advocacy Service and served on the Board of Directors for the Advocacy Center for several years. Louise runs a private law practice focusing on civil and criminal litigation, and is a member in good standing of the Louisiana Bar Association.

Christal Hurst

Christal is the Paralegal, and Policy, Advocacy and Funding Coordinator for Frontline Legal Services

Christal Hurst works as contract paralegal, assisting clients across the state with Social Security Disability/SSI, specifically assisting incarcerated clients within 180 days of release. Ms. Hurst has 14 years experience as a paralegal, specializing in Disability, Housing/Employment Discrimination and Estate Planning.

 
 

Kamrin Johnson

Kamrin Johnson is a Medical Case Manager for Frontline Legal Services

As a military kid, Kamrin has lived all over the country but has family and strong ties to New Orleans. Kamrin has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master's degree in Pharmacology from Tulane University. Kamrin has five years of experience in the HIV world as a Medical Case Manager in a New Orleans FQHC Ryan White clinic. Here he oversaw Ryan White Part A program development/ service standards, ADAP services and was a liaison for 340B/ HIV drug management for the in-house pharmacy. Since starting at Frontline in 2022, Kamrin looks forward to continuing his engagement with the community and helping dismantle HIV stigma and socioeconomic barriers for clients.
